Jonathan Davis, PhD

Jonathan C.W. Davis, PhD earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, with a minor in French, at Berea College. Jonathan received his PhD from the Urban Schooling program at the University of California, Los Angeles and was a University of California Office of the President’s Dissertation Year Fellow. His research interests include: a) secondary school reform in urban contexts (e.g., educational micropolitics) and b) equity and access to higher education for students from low-income and historically marginalized backgrounds (e.g., college-going cultures).
