GEAR UP!
Serving as a professional development provider for the California GEAR UP, the EASE Project works with GEAR UP around how best to support schools and their Equity Leadership Teams.
CAPP College-Going Culture Grant (CGCG)
The College-Going Culture Grant (CGCG) is a five year grant that provides ten high schools across California with the funds, resources, and support needed to help develop college-going in their schools.
My Journey To College (MyJTC)
MyJTC is a 40-hour on-site program that culminates in an immersive experience at UCLA, supporting local public schools’ efforts to better connect rising ninth graders with college opportunities.

The CAPP Leadership Network
The CAPP Leadership Network (CLN) provides a structure, processes, and professional space to support ongoing leadership development for current and aspiring educational leaders. Targeting both administrators and teachers, the network provides opportunities to explore social justice and equity issues related to education. The EASE Project supports CLN through ongoing documentation, learning improvement, and training for educational leaders.
Summer Training for Excellence in Education Research Program (STEER)
The STEER Program is an 8-week immersive program that invites promising undergraduates from Historically Black Colleges and Universities to pursue rigorous research with education faculty at UCLA. At the conclusion of the program, fellows are trained and prepared for doctoral study, and are promised full funding to a UC doctoral program.
African American Regional Educational Alliances® (AAREA®)
An initiative of the Choose College Educational Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose overall goal is to emerge, sustain, and grow a regional collaborative network that designs and implements innovative educational services targeting the needs of African American youth and their families in various East Bay Area regions, by engaging in meaningful conversations and reviewing best practices for improving the academic success of African American students. AAREA®’s mission is “to develop collaborative educational services and professional development opportunities that result in improved academic proficiency and college readiness of African American students.”
