The College-Going Culture Grant

A college-going culture refers to the practices, beliefs, attitudes, and climate that school professionals establish and sustain at an institutional level in order to support college-going for all students. As such, college-going culture requires commitment from school professionals, families, and communities to ensure that EVERY student has the tools, resources, and information necessary for college attendance and completion.

Elements of a College-Going Culture

A CAPP Funded Grant

The college-going culture grant (CGCG) is a five year grant that provides ten high schools across California with the funds, resources, and support needed to help develop college-going in their schools.

Ten high schools focused on systems-based and campus wide initiatives to inspire college ideation in their students, and prepare their students for college. The ten schools chosen were chosen due to their service to underserved students.

The EASE Project served as documenters throughout the grant.
