Dr. Odie Douglas

Dr. Odie Douglas recently retired as the assistant superintendent responsible for overseeing educational services and supervising K-12 schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District located in Alameda County. He earned his Doctor of Education degree at the University of San Francisco. Dr. Douglas is a mentor/facilitator for the California Academic Partnership Program Leadership Network and a national consultant for the College Board and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). He is a Commissioner and Executive Committee member for the Accrediting Commission for Schools - Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Dr. Douglas regularly makes local and national presentations on promoting equity and access for all students in rigorous academic classes and using disaggregated student performance data results to build an AP (Advanced Placement) program. His most recent award includes being recognized as the 2017 Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 6 Central Office Administrator of the Year.
